Friendly Fire

Friendly Fire Beta

Fling. Dodge. Parry. Repeat.

Friendly Fire turns the room you're standing in into an arena. Fling a missile off your screen and it flies through real space toward your friend — who can hear it coming and had better move. Physically dodge out of the blast, or time a last-instant lunge to parry it away.

The game uses Ultra Wideband ranging between iPhones to track the distance between players with centimeter precision, so a real sidestep is a real dodge. No cameras, no maps, no accounts — just two phones, one hallway, and escalating sibling rivalry.

Friendly Fire is in active beta testing via TestFlight. Want in? Say hello at support@nerdbucket.org.

How it works

Each missile locks its range the moment you fling it. Your phone's speaker broadcasts the launch, your target's phone screams an escalating incoming alarm, and the final second is the parry window — a real, physical lunge detected by the phone in your hand. Everything is resolved directly between the phones in the room. Nothing touches a server, because there isn't one.
